Ihab Ahmad Canvas paintings, featuring portrait and abstract art, describe Ihab Ahmad’s life experience. Ihab Ahmad was born on February 8, 1983 in Beirut, Lebanon. With his very original style, this talented artist painter has succeeded in a very special way in placing his creatures between humor and seriousness, between fantasy and reality. With their double identity, between human being and caricature, these strange creatures are in a world characterized by the struggle between war and peace, good and evil. This gives them the characteristics of both humans and fantasy figures. And even though the grotesque seems to dominate, his figures are always softened by a stunning tenderness. Ihab Ahmad is a storyteller, and, if you look closely at his works, you will find the story; the personal story of the artist. With impressive and extraordinary artistic talent, this Lebanese artist portrays the difficult situation in Lebanon in which the circumstances of everyday life leave traces behind that are recognizable in the content of his paintings. His creative work is impressive. Using his extraordinary artistic talent, he combines the politically dualistic life of Beirut in its veiled form with early contemporary artistic interpretations.
