Artist Statement
I have a fascination with people. That’s why the majority of my art consists of portraits. Everyone has something unique about them that stands out to me. Whether it's their look or their personality. The more unique it is, the bigger my fascination to capture it on paper. I’m really into bold colors and line work. I love using a bright color pallet, it really captivates an individual. I love to break my art down into shapes of color. When I look at an image that’s what I see, shapes of color. Even though I like creating more realistic looking portraits, eventually I want my work to be more abstract.
